The Boston Bruins don't have a lot to be happy or proud about so far in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
One shining piece has been Charlie McAvoy. He has looked steady as ever on the backend and has been throwing the body on any Hurricane in his way. Watch his massive hit on Sebastian Aho here:
McAvoy has an assist in each of the Bruins' two losses in the first two games of this series and a total of ten hits, seven of them coming in Wednesday night's game.
He was also shaken up from a knee-on-knee collision with Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov but stayed in and finished the game. Let's hope the Bruins' best defenseman will be good to go for game three back in Boston.
