The second game between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes went down on Wednesday night.

And once again, the Bruins were the ones who came out on the losing end of the matchup. Both teams came out swinging however, with the opening minutes of the game showcasing some heavy hits and fast-paced action.

The top performer for the Canes in Game 1, goaltender Antti Raanta, was forced to leave the game following a collision with Boston's David Pastrnak barely eight minutes into the opening frame.

While it seemed like a move that would pay dividends for the Bruins at the time, it was quite the opposite. Raanta was replaced by rookie Pyotr Kochetkov between the pipes and the latter was equally solid, making 30 saves to notch his first playoff win in his relief appearance.

On the bright side, the Bruins finally did score a power play goal in this one, coming from Patrice Bergeron's stick, with the captain netting both of the B's tallies in Game 2.
