NESN, which airs Boston Bruins and Red Sox games, officially launched a new streaming service called "NESN 360." The streaming service will begin Wednesday, and it announced it would cost $30 for the new app. NESN becomes the first regional sports network (RSN) to offer a direct-to-consumer service.
An annual subscription would cost $329.99, but it comes with eight tickets to any Red Sox game in 2022.
It's reported that even ESPN would have to cost at least that $30 a month, and probably far more. Either way, streaming sports are going to be very expensive for most sports fans.
