The NHL is always looking for new ways to market the game.
Recent reports suggests they're doing that by bringing some new - and odd - events to the All-Star Skills Competition. With it being in Florida this year, the league is aiming at location specific events, and some of them sounds wild.
During Saturday night's Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, Sportsnet's Jeff Marek shared what some of those may be:
''All-star skills speculation from Jeff Marek on HNIC, ideas being thrown around between the NHL/NHLPA include a dunk tank on the beach, a hybrid golf/hockey event, and some type of game shooting frozen burgers at alligators.''
They're definitely going all-in with the South Florida theme!
