NHL Player Safety announced Cedric Pare's fate on if he will be suspended for his hit on Patrik Laine

The NHL Player Safety has revealed whether or not Cedric Pare with be facing any type of consequences or not for his hit on Montreal Canadiens forward, Patrik Laine on Saturday.

On Sunday the NHL announced that Arber Xhekaj would be fined Arber Xhekaj would be fined $3,385.42 for unsportsmanlike conduct on Cedric Pare, but Montreal Canadiens fans were left stunned to why Cedric Pare was not held to any consequences by the league.

Montreal's Arber Xhekaj has been fined $3,385.42, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for unsportsmanlike conduct on Toronto's Cedric Pare.

Fans believed that since Arber Xhekaj was held accountable for his actions, Cedric Pare was going to as well, but the league surprised everyone when nothing was announced regarding Cedric Pare on Sunday.

Fans believe that Cedric Pare, a former Boston Bruins player should have been held accountable for what he did to Montreal Canadiens Patrik Laine, and felt he should have been suspended or at least faced a fine like Arber Xhekaj, especially since the hit caused Patrik Laine to leave the game and not come back. Arber Xhekaj was held accountable for his actions, but many have been left wondering why Cedric Pare wasn't held accountable for his?

Many people, and fans took to social media to voice their opinion on the matter, including former Montreal Canadien's defenseman, P.K. Subban who was not happy with the hit.

NHL Player Safety has been a joke for awhile now but this just adds fuel to the fire.
