Hockey Canada has been in the midst of sexual assault allegations throughout the summer, with a third case emerging this past week. At the same time, Hockey Canada is doing its best at sweeping it all under the rug.

Recently, some of the NHL's biggest stars, and Canadians at that, have shared their thoughts on the scandals facing Hockey Canada right now. One of them was Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.
McDavid responded to questions at NHL Media Tour in Las Vegas:
''I'm very proud to be Canadian, very proud to represent Hockey Canada obviously a situation that is terrible for everybody.''

Colorado Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon also weighed in:
''It's sad ... There's no place for that.''

''I don't know all the investigation stuff, but whatever happened wasn't OK — that's the main thing.''

Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar, who was a member of the 2018 World Junior team that is being investigated, spoke about the situation as well. *NOTE: Makar has previously stated he was not involved in the incident.*
Makar reassured that he has been very helpful throughout investigations:
''I'm completely open-book ... I'll be ready for whatever. Whatever they need, basically, I'll be there.''

''You think about even myself coming up through minor hockey ... My parents talk about all the fees that they paid Hockey Canada and yada yada for me to be able to play, and then for all this stuff to come out, I can only imagine the amount of parents that were thinking, 'Oh, this is where my fees are going'

''It's obviously a very tough look. The identity and the culture definitely needs to be changed. It's just that time.''
