Don Sweeney has received his fair share of disdain from fans throughout his tenure in Boston, however, there's one thing that the Bruins faithful should appreciate about their GM.

Although Sweeney has had his struggles when it comes to drafting, more specifically, the 2015 Entry Draft. One thing he has done well, is keeping this Bruins team competitive for guys like Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.

And that's maybe been more evident this season than it ever has by looking at what he's traded away, compared to what he brought to Boston.

Conor Ryan of Boston.com shared the full details of Sweeney's recent trade history:

Don Sweeney has turned:

Erik Haula
Ryan Donato
Craig Smith
Anders Bjork
Urho Vaakanainen
John Moore
two first-rounders
seven additional picks

Into:

Charlie Coyle
Taylor Hall
Hampus Lindholm
Pavel Zacha
Dmitry Orlov
Garnet Hathaway

Besides Craig Smith - who was healthy scratched multiple times this season - and Erik Haula, none of those other players make the current roster.

While every player he has acquired is a top six player or top four defenseman, while Coyle and Hathaway are the players you need in the bottom six. All have signed substantial extensions to stay in Boston, as well.
