One thing the Boston Bruins should have this season is strong goaltending, with Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark between the pipes. Neither guy is a top-class goaltender like Andrei Vasilevskiy or Igor Shesterkin, but the two Bs netminders make up one of the strongest duos in the NHL.

Ullmark has been in the league a while now, and it appears as though his ceiling is a 1A or 1B; you'll get solid goaltending from him, but he can have his rough stretches too. What the Bruins should be excited about is Swayman, who, at just 23, has a lot of potential in his game.

Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic explained:

''[Swayman] has a higher career ceiling than the 29-year-old Ullmark. Swayman's speed, size, technique, hockey sense and athleticism give him tools to be a No. 1. Swayman made 41 appearances last season and five more in the playoffs. It will be up to him whether he increases his workload.''

Bruins fans have seen the tools and skills he possesses, but the only question for Jeremy Swayman is, can he take that next step? That next step to being an elite goaltender in the NHL.

Nobody has a bigger season ahead of them than the B's netminder.
