Patrice Bergeron and Ray Bourque are two of the greatest players to ever play in Boston.
They both sit among the top three when it comes to games played for the franchise, so it makes sense for them to own or share plenty of the team's records.
Bourque, a five-time Norris Trophy winner, and Bergeron, a four-time Selke Trophy winner, have never been known for their goal-scoring abilities.
However, thanks to his goal scored last night against the Blues, Patrice Bergeron tied Raymond Bourque for a franchise record in the goal department.
By finding the back of the net just 49 seconds after the initial puck drop, Bergeron scored his 9th career opening-minute goal. That ties him with Bourque for the most in Bruins history.
The Bruins captain joined a list of notable NHLers with his latest achievement.
The only active players who have scored more opening-minute goals than Bergeron are Sidney Crosby (13), Joe Thornton (11), Alexander Ovechkin (10) and Anze Kopitar (10).
That's some pretty elite company.
