Trash-talking is a fine art in the NHL, and it's evident that some players are better at it than others.
Some guys have been known to leave their opponents completely baffled by their comments, while others sometimes seem to cross a line (Trevor Zegras). But when it comes to the best in the game, one member of the Bruins comes to mind.
None other than Brad Marchand!
His fellow NHLers appear to agree. In a recent poll by Michael Russo, Jesse Granger and Mark Lazerus of The Athletic, several players voted for the league's best trash talkers. And the results are not that shocking.
Marchand was once a guy who went over the line far too often but has always been one of the best at putting up points and running his mouth.
