Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy revealed his intentions during yesterday's media availability.

With the Bruins playoff spot pretty much confirmed and the end of the regular season calendar fast approaching, Cassidy announced that he'd be making plenty of roster changes in the coming weeks.

Veterans and injured players will get additional rest, while newly signed rookies and healthy scratches will get some much-needed playing time.

With the Bruins playing on back-to-back nights, with a meeting against Columbus just a few hours away and a matchup in Detroit tomorrow, the timing is right for Cassidy to use different formations.

The forward lines appear to remain intact, with Marc McLaughlin and Anton Blidh being left out. On defense however, the third pairing will feature Mike Reilly on the left and Josh Brown on the right versus the Jackets. Derek Forbort and Connor Clifton will be scratched.

Cassidy has already confirmed that both his netminders will each get a start to kick off the week, with Linus Ullmark getting the call tonight and Jeremy Swayman taking on the Wings tomorrow.

As per this morning's practice line rushes, it seems pretty clear who'll be suiting up against the Blue Jackets tonight.
