Last night the Boston Bruins showcased the new version of their Pooh Bear Jersey. The original Pooh Bear was worn from 1995-2006 as the Bruins' first alternate jersey in team history.
For many Bruins fans, the sight of the new Pooh Bear jersey may have brought back some memories from that time period.
Some memories include Joe Thornton's early days after being selected 1st overall by Boston in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
Also on display during the time period was Sergei Samsonov's speed and dangles while skating on a line with playmaker and one-time captain Jason Allison
We can't forget about one-time fan favourite PJ Stock dropping the gloves while wearing the original Pooh Bear. What Stock lacked in size, he definitely made up for in heart as went toe-to-toe with many much bigger enforcers over the years.
What are your thoughts on Pooh Bear 2.0? Did the jerseys bring back any memories for you?
