After a perfect four-game homestand, the Bruins improved to 7-1-0 in the early season, while the Blue Jackets fell to a record of 3-5-0 after an embarrassing 6-3 loss on home ice to the lowly Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night.
Tonight has the making for an exciting game as the highest-scoring team in the leagues, the Bruins (35 goals for), visit a Columbus team that has allowed the third most goals in the NHL (33 goals against).
However, the Bruins will be without Brad Marchand, who made his season debut last night, due to it being a back-to-back, and David Krejci, who was injured Thursday night and will be staying in Boston for further evaluation.
Linus Ullmark will get the start after Jeremy Swayman's tremendous performance last night against the Detroit Red Wings. Jakub Lauko, A.J. Greer and Anton Stralman are all in the lineup, while Jakub Zboril will be sitting this one out.
