The Boston Bruins are off to an incredible 7-1-0 start to the 2022-23 season, and apparently, it's a historic one!
Former goaltender and current NESN analyst Andrew Raycroft shared that the Bruins accomplished something last night for the first time in franchise history.
''For the first time EVER the Boston Bruins have started the season 7-1''
It's pretty crazy for a franchise that's been around for 98 years and has had teams that won multiple Stanley Cups in a short amount of time. Even going back to the days of Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito, the club has never started better than they have this season.
The Bruins were pretty much written off in all the predictions by ''experts'' before the season even started.
Now, eight games in, the club is leading a stacked Atlantic Division by five points and is two points ahead of Bruce Cassidy's Vegas Golden Knights for first in the NHL.
