The Arizona Coyotes selected forward Conor Geekie from the Winnipeg Ice of the WHL with the 11th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
After Geekie celebrated with his family, he started down the stairs at Bell Centre and almost took a spill as he was on his way to the draft stage. Of course, the youngster was on camera as every draftee is as soon as they're picked, but even better, Sportsnet had Geekie mic'd for the moment as well.
