''I think it's always been important. I think it's become, I guess, a lot more part of a coach's responsibility than it used to be. There used to be the old adage, players gotta figure it out. Like, 'You're not playing; figure it out. You are playing more; figure it out.'' I think more now - - and I've always been like this as a coach - - is I try and always give feedback as to why they're not playing as much or why they're playing more so that they replicate those habits and you know why you're getting rewarded with good ice. Hopefully that's going to encourage you to play the way that you've been playing to get that good ice.''
