The 2022 World Juniors wrapped up last night with Canada securing the gold medal for the fourth time in 10 years.

And as the dust settles on the rare ''summer tournament'', the possible location of the World Juniors all the way until 2026 has been revealed (Some more confirmed than others).

As per TSN's Gord Miller:

''Also in December, the host city/cities for the 2025 World Junior Championship in Canada will be announced. There was a lot of interest in hosting the 2023 event that was awarded to Halifax/Moncton, and there are multiple bids to host the 2025 tournament.''

''The 2024 World Juniors will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Destiny Tours, which has long offered overseas trips to the tournament for Canadians has already sold more than 1500 packages, and is working with Swedish organizers to get more tickets and hotel rooms.''

But what appears to be the most interesting report, is that the 2026 World Juniors will allegedly be hosted in a location it never has been before:

''And finally, the 2026 World Juniors will be held in the United States. There is a lot chatter about the tournament being played in Las Vegas. Putting it in Vegas was the dream of the late Jim Johansson, the former executive director of
@usahockey who passed away in 2018.''
