As all fans of the Boston Bruins know, the team is in a bit of injury trouble to start the 2022-23 NHL season. With Brad Marchand, Charlie McAvoy, Matthew Grzelcyk and now Taylor Hall all on the sidelines.
Some good news was recently shared via the Bruins' injuries, as Grzelcyk joined his fellow teammates in practice for the first time, albeit in a non-contact jersey. Head coach Jim Montgomery gave a positive update on one of the injured defensemen as well:
''I think he's slightly ahead of schedule as far as the reports I've heard.''
''Today was his first day with the group as it was scheduled to be, and he's non-contact. I don't know how long he's non-contact, but right now, he's non-contact.''
Grzelcyk had been dealing with the shoulder injury since last January and underwent off-season surgery to repair the issue. Initially, the defenseman was projected back in November, but that may come sooner.
