The Bruins (39-7-5) are looking at every option leading up to the NHL Trade Deadline of March 3rd. Whether it's the top players or depth pieces that are available.

According to Nick Alberga of The Nation Network, the most recent trade bait that Boston has been linked to comes from the Vancouver Canucks. Alberga shared the following information on Wednesday evening:

''Hearing Boston and Calgary could be emerging as the leading contenders for Luke Schenn if/when the #Canucks are ready to pull the trigger.''

General manager Don Sweeney has said to be also working the phone lines with the Arizona Coyotes regarding Jakob Chychrun. Schenn, on the other hand, would come at a much cheaper price and would be the sixth or seventh defenseman.

Schenn, 33, has appeared in 50 games with the Canucks this season, collecting 3 goals and 15 assists. The veteran brings a physical element that the Bruins could be missing, as he leads the league with 241 hits, and sits sixth all-time with 3,081.
