Bruins Place Defenseman On Trade Block.

The Boston Bruins haven't had any luck trying to give forward Jake DeBrusk a fresh start so it seems they might look to move another youngster.

According to Bruins' insider Fluto�Shinzawa of The�Athletic, the team is likely looking to give a young defenseman a fresh start.

Shinzawa mentions that defenseman Urho Vaakanainen is available through trade.

The 23 year old was the Bruins' first round pick in 2017 but hasn't been able to grab himself a full time job in the NHL.

At just 23 years old, a fresh start somewhere else would definitely give the youngster a boost especially moved to a rebuilding team where he could enjoy some consistent ice time.

Sweeney would reportedly be willing to package the blueliner for a win now piece that would help the B's Stanley�Cup push this season.

He's in the final year of his deal before becoming RFA after this season and has registered 6 points in 22 games so far during his young NHL career.
