It's now well-known that veteran Patrick Kane is not happy with the recent moves that the Chicago Blackhawks have made.
First, they traded his line mate Alex DeBrincat to the Ottawa Senators and then recent third overall pick Kirby Dach to the Montreal Canadiens.
Now, NHL insider Frank Seravalli has reported that one intriguing team has 'kicked tires'' on possibly acquiring Kane from the Blackhawks.
Per Seravalli:
''A number of teams have inquired about Patrick Kane in recent days, but they've been told a trade is unlikely at this time.
Kane and #Blackhawks have been in continuous dialogue. He'd like to see how season goes, and it would be an in-season move - if at all''
Oilers reporter Eric Friesen commented on the Kane rumours and showed what a possible top-nine would look like in Edmonton:
What kind of damage could Patrick Kane do alongside Connor McDavid?
