Per recent reports in the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings and general manager Steve Yzerman are shopping around a top forward on the team.
Dan Kingerski of Pittsburgh Hockey Now has reported that Red Wings winger Tyler Bertuzzi is a top trade candidate for the 2022-23 NHL season.
Bertuzzi was heavily linked to the Boston Bruins at last season's trade deadline and also at the beginning of this summer's offseason.
He carries a cap hit of $4.75 million for one more season and would fit in any team's top-fix forward group and powerplay. The Bruins currently have just over $-2 million in cap space, so trading back a contract like Mike Reilly, Matthew Grzelcyk or even Craig Smith the other way is a must to even make it possible.
