Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney made a couple of trades during last season's trade deadline hoping to get the team on a Stanley Cup run.
Unfortunately, none of them really had a huge impact on the roster or playoff performance.
One of those trades was bittersweet for the player being shipped out of Boston.

The Athletic recently caught up with Rob O'Gara who was shipped to New York as part of the deal that saw the Bruins land Rangers defenseman Nick Holden.
While O'Gara is happy he got to see some regular NHL action during his time with the Rangers, the Yale University product is still frustrated he never got to crack the lineup as a regular in Boston.
The 25 year old spent most of the last two seasons in Providence while he saw various other younger defenseman be called up ahead of him.
O'Gara failed to register a point during his time in Boston and was a -5 in his 8 games during the 2017-18 season.
Do you think the 6'4 lefty ever got a fair chance with the Bruins?
