The Boston Bruins were one of the final teams in on unrestricted free agent John Tavares, unfortunately they weren't able to land the superstar center.
Much like some of the other final teams in on Tavares(Dallas and San Jose), the Bruins were stuck waiting so long for Tavares that they watched the rest of free agency pass them by.
With RickNash an unrestricted free agent and uncertain if he'll even play hockey this season, the Bruins are without the secondary scoring help they were hoping for.
Dupont suggests the Bruins and general manager DonSweeney could pony up players such as Jake DeBrusk and Brandon Carlo to try and land Artemi Panarin of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Would you be willing to make a deal like that, even if it meant only having Panarin for one year?
