Ron MacLean's future with Hockey Night in Canada was just confirmed
Ron MacLean's future with Hockey Night in Canada's future was just confirmed.
Ron MacLean has been with Hockey Night in Canada for a long time and there has been speculation that he may lose his job with Sportsnet as they have been getting rid of some personal lately.
The first cut from Sportsnet started with one of the best insiders in the game, Jeff Marek, and since then Jonah Sigel of YYZ Sports Media stated that more layoffs could be on the way for Sportsnet.
There has been a lot of speculation that Ron MacLean could be at the top of the list to lose his job.
But Sigel made it clear that MacLean's job is not on the line and wouldn't be anytime soon, at least not until their current broadcasting deal with Rogers ends in two year.
