The Bruins are making their only trip of the season to the Shark Tank tonight and some roster changes are sure to happen on the Boston side.
Despite the club's current three-game win streak, Head Coach Bruce Cassidy has been forced to rethink his lines with forward Curtis Lazar already ruled out ahead of Saturday night's matchup.
With that said, the B's will be turning to either Anton Blidh or Jesper Froden to fill the void left by Lazar's absence. Blidh has suited up in 28 games this season and picked up 9 points (2G-7A) in the process.
As for Froden, he failed to register a point in his only game back on December 16, but the rookie has been on fire with the AHL's Providence Bruins as of late, racking up 13 points over his last 15 games.
Here's what the Bruins bench boss had to say on the expected roster changes ahead of tonight's game in San Jose.
The Bruins had the best of the Sharks in the teams' first meeting of the regular season back on October 24. They found the back of the net three times in the opening frame to eventually skate away with a 4-3 win over San Jose.
