The first NHL star has been traded, as the Canucks traded Bo Horvat to the Islanders on Monday evening.

Now, who's next?

The next biggest forward available is Timo Meier of the Sharks, and according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now, the Sharks may be looking for a little more than what Vancouver got for their captain.

''Yesterday, another source indicated to SJHN that GM Mike Grier was looking for a first-rounder and one Grade-A or two Grade-B prospects, or one good prospect and a young, established NHL player' for Meier but Raty, Beauvillier, and a 1st might represent a more realistic return than a Grade-A prospect coming back.''

Meier, 26, is enjoying another great year on a struggling Sharks team. Through 51 games, he's registered 28 goals and 20 assists. The pending restricted free agent is also due to receive a $10 million qualifying offer this summer.

Don't expect the Bruins to go after Meier with this asking price. Unless a third team helps out, and Don Sweeney can get very creative.
