St. Louis Blues sign RFA forward to MASSIVE max-extension

Earlier this offseason, the St. Louis Blues locked up part of their future when they signed centre Robert Thomas to an eight-year, $65MM contract. The 23-year-old broke out with 20 goals and 57 assists last season.
And earlier this morning, the Blues locked up another young forward to a max contact.
Trusted NHL insider Elliotte Friedman was the first to report that the club has signed Jordan Kyrou to a max extension:
Kyrou was originally selected in the second round (35th overall) by St. Louis in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old also broke out during the 2021-22 season, recording 27 goals and 48 assists.
