NHL referees continue to show inconsistency, as perhaps the most controversial plays happened in the past few days.

Especially last night between the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets when the Stars attempted to tie the game at four with their net empty. Jason Robertson would tie the game with 20 seconds left, but it happened as Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck was lying on the ice without his mask on.
Watch the play here:
According to NHL Rule 9.6 (Helmets):
''When a goalkeeper has lost his helmet and/or face mask and ... the opposing team has control of the puck, play shall only be stopped if there is no immediate and impending scoring opportunity.''

The rule is clear that it's the referee's judgement on whether there's an immediate scoring chance, which is what is controversial. When the rebound ends up behind the net, should the play be stopped? Or is it still a ''scoring chance'' because Jamie Benn gets to the puck first?
Thankfully for Winnipeg, they were able to win the game in overtime, but was Dallas handed a point from the officials?
What are your thoughts?
