The latest on Bruins' injured defenseman Brandon Carlo

Friday's practice featured a much-welcomed sight for the Bruins today. Brandon Carlo returned to practice for the first time since sustaining an upper-body injury in Boston's home opener against the Coyotes.
Carlo has missed the last three games after taking a heavy hit from Coyotes forward Liam O'Brien. Considering Carlo's concussion history it would be best for the Bruins and Carlo not to rush back too early. Here is the hit the sidelined Carlo:
Carlo was wearing a no-contact jersey, and coach Jim Montgomery says the defender is listed as day-to-day.
The Bruins had a much better defensive effort in their last game against the Ducks following a disastrous night on their own end against the Senators.
