The back-to-back Stanley Cup champions are officially on the three-peat watch, as they're set to face the Colorado Avalanche in the Finals starting Wednesday.
The Lightning have been without superstar forward Brayden Point since game seven of the first round against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
According to Elliotte Friedman, head coach Jon Cooper expects Brayden Point to return to the lineup for game one of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Point has 2 goals and 4 points in seven games these playoffs. He suffered a lower body injury that's kept him out of the lineup until now, but the Lightning were still able to sweep the Presidents Trophy winning Florida Panthers and take down the New York Rangers in six games.
Does this make the Tampa Bay Lightning early favourites to win the Stanley Cup?
