Providence sign free-agent junior forward out of the WHL

The Providence Bruins have signed forward Luke Toporowski to a two-year AHL contract through the 2023-2024 season.
The native of Bettendorf, Iowa has spent the past five seasons with the Spokane Chiefs and Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. In 245 games, he collected 96 goals and 103 assists for 199 points.
This past season, the 5'11'', 182 lb forward record 35 goals and 28 assists for 63 points. In 16 postseason games, the 21-year-old notched 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 total points.
