Boston Bruins record-breaking penalty kill

The Boston Bruins were playing the Carolina Hurricanes back in 2010 when this never-before-seen shift happened.

Kicking off the second period tied at 0-0 with the Canes, the Bruins knew they had to survive the first two minutes down a man. However, what happened next was nothing short of extraordinary. Rather than sitting back and defending their own zone, the B's went into full attack mode while shorthanded, which visibly shook their opponents.
The Bruins found the back of the net once for a shorthanded goal. On the next shift, they struck again. And on the ensuing shift, they found the back of the net for the third time.
All three goals were scored in an impressive span of 64 seconds! To this day, the Bruins remain the only team in NHL history to have scored three times while killing the same penalty.
