Re-live some classic Brad Marchand antics.
The video that made several highlight reels last November featured New York Rangers Artemi Panarin throwing his glove at the Boston Bruins ''pest''.
It quickly turned into a GIF that drew countless laughs, with Panarin seeing the humour in it, as well. However, as Panarin later explained, the incident started with Marchand maybe taking his trash talking a little too far.
''I didn't really understand what he said in the moment because we had a little conversation with bad energy.''
It was alleged that Panarin got heated after these words for Marchand:
''Nobody in your country likes you.''
Panarin was handed a $5000 fine for the incident but was very light-hearted about the whole situation not long after.
''I lost 5K, but thanks to the old general manager (Jeff Gorton) for $11.6 (million) ... I'm good.''
And in classic Brad Marchand style, he had to respond in the nicest way possible about the incident.
''I said no one in Russia likes him ... If that's what sets guys over the edge, then this the softest league in the world.''
