Forward A.J Greer has been nothing but impressive for the Boston Bruins through the first two preseason games.
In game one against the Philadelphia Flyers, Greer showed his tough side as he stood up for a teammate and dropped the gloves with Hayden Hodgson:
Last night, however, Greer showed that he has an offensive side as well. The 25-year-old scored two goals in a 3-2 win, including this overtime winner:
What was almost most note-worthy from Greer last night was how much he expressed praise for the Bruins fans and the city of Boston.
''I'm focused, I'm intense, I'm an intense person. But I enjoy what I do. I'm not gonna apologize, but that was definitely a sick reaction from the crowd, and I look forward to doing that again, hopefully.''
''It's a feeling you can't describe...to play for the Boston Bruins is something that everyone dreams about.''
He also stated that he models his game after a former fan favorite for the Bruins:
''I grew up [in Montreal] watching Milan Lucic. I try to model my game after him, for sure. Energy, physical, can put the puck in the net & will stick up for your teammates anytime. That's who I want to be.''
