The Boston Bruins only invited one player to camp on a professional tryout, that being 36 year old defenseman Anton Stralman.
The veteran has appeared in 930 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, and the Arizona Coyotes across 15 NHL seasons.
Spending most of his career in the Eastern Conference, and seven of the last eight years in the Atlantic Division, Stralman is well aware of the Bruins and how they operate.
''It's always been one of those tough teams to play against, an organization expecting to win and wants to win. That's exciting I like the culture of this team. I like what they want to do.''
