The Boston Bruins are in great need of a win in their best-of-seven series against the Carolina Hurricanes. The club returns home to TD Garden tonight for game three after losing the first two games in Raleigh.

The most significant advantage the Bruins have tonight is that home ice. Hurricanes' head coach Rod Brind'Amour did a great job deploying his lines in the first two games, keeping his top line with Sebastian Aho away from Patrice Bergeron. Instead, it was veteran Jordan Staal who had the duty of containing the Bruins' top line at even strength.

Cassidy spoke about line matching tonight:

"There's not a lot of drop-off of how they [Carolina] play from line to line. They reload well. They check well. Their [defensemen] were up ... I know that [Jordan] Staal is a shutdown guy ... and I know they liked him against Bergeron. We will be allowed to get away from that for the most part. For me, I'm less inclined to worry about a lot of that stuff. You gotta outplay the guy across for you. Certainly, there is advantages."

Bruce Cassidy also touched on the fast starts that his club has had but how they need to cash in on those early chances. Scoring the first goal tonight might be what wins game three for the Boston Bruins.

Hopefully, reuniting Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Pastrnak will give the Bruins' offence the spark it desperately needs!
