Connor Clifton has stepped up in a big way at the beginning of the 2022-23 season.
Even with Charlie McAvoy's return to the right side, Clifton kept his strong start going with not only a goal, but he also caught former Bruin Milan Lucic with a big hit.
Clifton also had a hilarious sound bite about the hit from his postgame media coverage. When asked about the hit, the defenseman said:
''Two big bodies going at it.''
Clifton is listed at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, while Lucic is a bulking 6-foot-4 and weighs 240 pounds.
