The Boston Bruins have finally lost a game at TD Garden, and it came at the hands of an ex-Bruin and the Vegas Golden Knights.
After Boston came back from a 3-0 deficit to force extra time, a former member of the Bruins ended a lengthy shootout to help Bruce Cassidy win in his return as well.
Ex-Bruin Reilly Smith scored the only goal in the fifth round of the skills competition. Both Jeremy Swayman and Logan Thompson were stellar throughout.
Smith came to Boston in the deal that sent Tyler Seguin to the Dallas Stars in the summer of 2013. In 163 games with the Bruins, the forward collected 33 goals and 58 assists.
