The Boston Bruins 2022 Rookie Development Camp is underway at Warrior Ice Arena, and all the team's prospects are there to showcase their talents.

Except for one big one.

The Bruins' top prospect Fabian Lysell is not at the development camp because he is training with Team Sweden for the upcoming, rescheduled World Junior Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.

Jamie Langenbrunner, who has been the club's development coach since 2015, discussed Lysell's non-appearance:

"He wanted to be here, it would've been a good opportunity to meet everybody and be around but he will be here after the World Juniors, so he will have a good almost month to spend around here before camp."

Fabian Lysell was the Bruins' first-round (21st overall) selection at the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

The 19-year-old had 22 goals and 40 assists in 55 games with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL last season. Followed up by 21 points in 12 postseason games.
