The New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning have started game one of the Eastern Conference Finals, and the Rangers got to goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy early.
Definitely not something hockey fans saw coming after he only allowed three goals in four games against the President Trophy-winning Florida Panthers.
The Rangers got on the board early (1:11 in) with a beautiful fake slapshot by Mika Zibanejad and a pass to a wide-open Chris Kreider who made no mistake:
New York has one goal on two shots, just five minutes in.
