Red Wings player receives 5-minute major and game misconduct for slash

During Thursday night's contest between the Detroit Red Wings and Florida Panthers, a 5-minute major and misconduct was given out for a slash.
Red Wings' forward Oskar Sundqvist was given a major penalty and game misconduct for a slash on Panthers' defenseman Lucas Carlsson as he was taking a shot from the point.
The slash didn't seem to look that bad at real speed, but the referees thought it was significant enough to warrant the misconduct. Now, the question is if Sundqvist will be getting a call from the NHL Players Safety.
