With the Bruins on yet another scheduled night off, what better time to look back at a former Bruin.
Samsonov never failed to amaze with his blazing speed and his silky smooth handles he produced jaw dropping highlights time and time again.
Drafted in the 1st round of the 1997 Entry Draft, Sergei Samsonov went on to win the Calder Trophy with the Bruins as the league's top rookie. He enjoyed great success playing alongside former Bruins center Jason Allison.
