Tampa Bay Lighting place 25 year old defensemen on waivers.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have just placed 25-year-old defenseman Philippe Myers, on waivers.
The Moncton, New Brunswick native was acquired in a trade between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Nashville Predators last July.
In the trade mentioned above, we saw Nashville acquire former Tampa Bay defenseman, Ryan McDonagh. In exchange for 23-year-old left winger Grant Mismash and Philippe Myers.
Myers has played an average of 11:33 minutes per game in 11 games, has 1 goal, 2 assists and a +/- record of 0 so far this season.
I wonder if any team will try to sign Philippe Myers. He is not the most impressive defenseman or a shinning star, but he could be a good addition to a team currently entering a rebuild
