The fight broke out with no time left on the clock and the game heading to overtime tied at 2-2!
Derek Forbort made plenty of memories during his days with the Kings. The defenseman spent the first five seasons of his eight-year career under the L.A. sun, and clearly he still has some bad blood with a few former teammates.
On Monday night, the 30-year-old blueliner dropped the mitts with his old buddy Adrian Kempe in what was a very entertaining bout.
No matter what you think of the fight, the Bruins came out as winners here. Forbort, the team's sixth d-man, managed to take the Kings All-Star winger off the ice for five minutes... a.k.a. the entire overtime period!
