The Boston Bruins traded their 2022 first round draft pick to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Hampus Lindholm.
Once the 2021-22 NHL season completed, that pick was officially 22nd overall.
And with the pick the Anaheim Ducks selected Nathan Gaucher, a centre from the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.
Scouting reports on Gaucher:
''Nathan Gaucher doesn't have the production you'd want in the first round, but the Ducks are clearly high on his toolkit.''
As per DobberProspects:
''Big two-way forward with a great scoring touch around the net. Needs to learn to utilize his physical tools more efficiently to fulfill his potential as a top-six NHL forward.''
