The Toronto Maple Leafs were in a hard-fought matinee matchup today, as they were on the road visiting the Minnesota Wild.
The Leafs came away with a 4-3 win; however, Wild head coach Dean Evason made a significant ''cheating'' accusation toward opposing goaltender Matt Murray.
According to Evason, Murray intentionally pushed the net off the moorings during the game and more than once. As per Michael Russo of The Athletic:
Evason upset about the Murray net moorings issue tonight. Says it makes no sense that you can do that three times with no repercussions on scoring chances/extended shifts and goalie coach Freddy Chabot told him it's a ''trend with that goaltender''
