Boston Bruins defenseman Connor Clifton could be hearing from the NHL Player Safety Department after cross-checking Toronto Maple Leafs forward Michael Bunting Saturday night.

Clifton definitely went a little too far on the play, but it didn't appear as egregious as fans have seen before. The Bruins defenseman was given a two-minute minor for cross-checking on the play, but will he receive further discipline from the league?
