After the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney missed out on filling any holes through free agency, they'll be looking to fill those holes internally.
One of the roles that has a big question mark beside it is the third line center role.
Joe McDonald of The Athletic expects the Bruins could easily have the answer within their organization.
McDonald writes that JakobForsbacka Karlsson will fight hard to earn that role during training camp.
The 2015 second round pick had 32 points in 58 games for the Providence Bruins last season which included 15 goals.
From McDonald:
"He has a high level of skill and can make high-end plays, the kind of plays you need your third-line center to make at the NHL level. He went through a year last year where he turned into a professional hockey player. He was playing against men, and there were some adjustments, and he still had a pretty solid year."
Do you think he can steal the third line center role?
