With Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals happening later tonight, the NHL announced the officials for tonight's game between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. But, fans aren't very happy.
Tonight's referees are Dan O'Rourke and Steve Kozari.
Well, with O'Rourke and Kozari patrolling the game, the Edmonton Oilers are 0-5 with O'Rourke and 0-4 with Kozari, making them a combined 0-9. With the same two referees officiating Florida's games, the Panthers are 5-0 with O'Rourke and 4-1 with Kozari, making them a combined 9-1.
Some fans are questioning this and wondering if Bettman wants to see them win the cup tonight, and if he rigged it for the cats. It falls, as the Panthers have a chance to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history on their home ice.
